Miami CF Officials Attempt to Set Aaron "Israel" Isby Up in Retaliation for Challenging Lockdown

Aaron “Israel” Isby

10/2/20

These officials tried to set me up on 10/2/20, at Miami Correctional Facility. Around 10am, Lt. Robinson and some sergeant was moving prisoners into my dorm(GHU), from the B-Cellhouse (BCU) detox unit. These staff brought some individual who had been assigned to the G-327 bunk in my cell (G-328). When I questioned this guy where he came from, he said BCU detox. I then asked him was he a smoker and he said yes and went on to say he had to smoke to get to sleep. I then told him, he cannot smoke in this cell, so he went to Lt. Robinson and told him that he could not cell with me because me and him was not compatible, because he smoked and I did not.

Instead of Robinson following protocol, he insisted on placing this inmate in my cell. So, I was not accepting this, and told them to move me to segregation. Lt. Robinson then told this inmate to sit in the dayroom and he left. Some sergeant came in GHU and observed that this inmate was high and he came to my cell trying to convince me to let this inmate come in my cell to lay down, he needed to lay down and sleep off this K-2 high. They ended up pushing the inmate in my cell and locking the door. I told this inmate he could not stay in my space, I was not celling with a smoker and he was not smoking in the cell. So, he called the control pod and told the female staff ofc. Sevis, that he was a smoker and he would like to talk to counselor Keiffer, to get moved. Counselor Keiffer told me her hands were tied and she could not get involved. I don't how, but this inmate was sitting at the cell door smoking, and one of the female c/os was counting, and seen this inmate smoking, asked him what he was doing and walked off. She did not follow protocol. A yard officer came to my cell, observed this inmate high and did not follow protocol. I was told higher-ups made this call to move this smoker to my cell, hoping that an altercation happened, so they could have reason to send the goon squad to attack me.

Me and this smoker was locked in the cell together in this conditional intentionally. As I stated someone higher up was trying to provoke me, by using this smoker, hoping I would respond violently, so they could call the goon squad in to attack me. Who works here that would like to see me go down? I will tell you one person: George Payne! I am sure there are some others that I do not know about yet that played a role in this conspiracy to set me up, but Payne is probably the primary crook in this crime.

I had contacted the federal judge in my case on 10/1/20, about the lockdown and the conditions that these officials had me under [having been illegally held in solitary confinement for 28 consecutive years, Israel won a court order in 2018 to prevent him from being put in solitary, which is very similar to lockdown conditions at Miami]. The next day this happened. This was no accident, this was a premeditated plan, by Payne and his co-conspirators. It was retaliation for my contacting Judge Magnus-Stinson [about the lockdown]! When the inmate told them he was a smoker and I was not and we was not compatible, they was not supposed to put him in my cell. Furthermore, when the sergeant, female c/o, and yard officer observed this inmate smoking and high, they was suppose to remove him from this cell and take him to segregation, this is their own protocol and it is against the rules for us to smoke drugs, i.e., in this dorm.

Instead, these staff did not do their job, and Lt. Robinson went and told other staff the reason I and this inmate was incompatible, was because we was members of rival gangs. Lie, lie, lie! These officers kept me and this inmate locked in the cell and were told by Lt. Robinson not to open our door. I was denied a shower. I also found out this inmate was related to a person in Fort Wayne that I had bad blood with and he had done something to one of my family members on the streets. So, at this point he had to go. I almost laid hands on him, but I gave him an opportunity to get out, so he signed P.C. papers, to get out of here!
