Phone Zap: Urgent Medical Care for Zach Rodriguez

Zachery Rodriguez #157341 is currently incarcerated at Wabash Valley Correction Facility in Carlisle, IN. Last year, while on the Secure Housing Unit, Zach contracted Covid-19 and while he survived, he continues to have worrying symptoms to this day. The prison is refusing to vaccinate Zach despite our limited knowledge of immunity to Covid variants. In addition, a visit to a Terre Haute hospital has revealed a mass in Zach's throat. Given his family's history of cancer it is urgent that he receive further tests and treatment. However, the DOC has been denying that treatment because they do not see it as "cost effective."
