Here's your message-- tweak and put in your own words:

"I am calling as a close friend/ family member of Shaka Shakur #1996207.

Please make sure that he can see an oncologist as quickly as possible for an independent assessment regarding post-surgery treatment for cancer.

Back on April 3rd, he had surgery for kidney cancer.

The pathology report showed margins were not clear.

But the surgeon said it was OK even though his own notes showed that it was not clear.
Although there has been a follow-up MRI, clearly more investigation is needed including a meeting with an oncologist.

It has now been more than 5 months since Shaka had surgery for cancer.

It is most concerning that he is still awaiting follow-up care, especially given the evidence that the cancer may have spread beyond the margins."

Update: Shaka Shakur Medical Status
It was suggested by family and comrades that i release a statement and update after i had Partial Kidney Removal Surgery to remove a large mass thought to be cancerous.

In early January a 5 centimeter mass was located on my right Kidney. After several test it was determined that I should have surgery to remove it. In early April i went in for a PKR where a third of my kidney was removed. The mass had grown to approx 8 centimeters in a matter of months.
I have to go back out to a Urologist and Nephrologists for further test. They were suppose to have gotten all of the cancer which they're now identifying as Renal Carcinoma since the pathologist test came back positive for cancer this week.

i was asked if my lymph nodes were tested or cleared for which I have no way of knowing as i was just kicked out of the hospital after the surgery in less than 24 hrs.
My Creatine and Blood cell/count numbers are off but may be a result of the surgery. i'm waiting on further testing.

Physically i'm moving and recuperating well. i only have a few aches, spasms and stiffness. Mentally/Emotionally, i'm all over the place because this could have bn prevented!

I deeply appreciate the love, support and solidarity from comrades, friends and family.

ALuta Continua!
